Who is this cat?

Ravage is a completely sapient robot in the shape of a huge black feline with silvery legs and silver missiles on his/her hips. S/he is ~20 ifeet tall when bipedal, but often prefers to go on all fours. In the past s/he has been much smaller, and has transformed into various types of recordable media, but current alt-mode is a black Jaguar XK. Ravage does have feline body language and is not above knocking things off tables, sleeping in inappropriate places or batting at things, but Ravage was a decorated Decepticon Special Operations officer who was adept at infiltration, sabotage, assassination and psychological manipulation.

Ravage was originally the property of the corrupt Senator Ratbat on Cybertron during the "Golden Age". Ravage is very defensive of his/her bodily autonomy. DO NOT PET RAVAGE. Unless your name is Megatron or Soundwave...you might get bitten.

The character's personal history is based on the IDW MTMTE comics, and diverts from canon between the period in which Ravage was discovered aboard the Lost Light and the party on the Vis Vitalis.

Ravage is not Soundwave's creation, symbiote, child, or parent in the IDW continuity. They met as young adults in the Dead End of Rodion. The cassette/carrier relationship was forced upon them by Senator Ratbat.

During the canon divergence period, it was discovered that a number of feliform-aviform pairs were created and trained in Stanix as part of an experiment using Predacon CNA. When the experiment was defunded, the specimens were sold off under the table to various patrons in order to recoup costs and pay debts. They were usually, but not always, sold off with their partners.

Relationships:

Ravage and Soundwave Kymatos (soundwave_ascendant) are conjunx endurae. Ravage and Megatron of Tarn (adpacempertyrannidem) are amicae endurae. Laserbeak (alittlebirbtoldme) is the closest of Ravage's siblings, and they were trained to work as partners, with Laserbeak providing long-distance recon and observation while her sibling performed infiltration (either by stealth or seduction), recording, sabotage and assassination.

However, Sundor remained a Decepticon spy in the Autobot ranks; he has also been, with Glit, a member of Rosanna's band "Kiss Players".

At least one other cohort was created at a later date; Viridian (the former Autobot cougaraider Blackcat) was found by Ravage on Tebris VII. She remembers almost nothing of her earlier life.
